At Horowhenua College, we make the application process simple and transparent. We welcome applications from international students for both short-term experiences and long-term academic qualifications.
How to Apply
Our enrolment process is designed to be quick and easy for families and agents.

- Complete the Application: Submit your application form via email to international@horowhenua.
school.nz . - Interview: Once reviewed, we will arrange a video interview (Zoom/Teams) with our International Director, Kat Henry, to discuss your subject choices and goals.
- Complete the Application: Submit your application form via email to international@horowhenua.
- Offer of Place: Successful applicants will receive a formal Offer of Place and an invoice for fees.
- Visa & Arrival: Upon payment, we provide the receipt needed for your Student Visa application and begin arranging your homestay.
2026 Fee Structure
All fees are in NZD and include GST.

| Tuition Fee | $17,000 | Covers all classroom tuition and ESOL support |
| Administration Fee | $1,200 | Non-refundable. Covers visa support and government levies. |
| Pastoral Fee | $800 | One-off fee for vetting and selecting your host family. |
| Homestay Fee | $330 per week | Includes 3 meals a day, own room, and laundry. |
| Insurance | $750 approx. | Mandatory medical and travel insurance (UniCare/Southern Cross). |
| Total for one year | $34, 930 |
Please note: Uniform costs are approximately $600 and are purchased upon arrival.
